Ethoseo is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to contribute to our small but growing digital marketing team. We’re looking for a sharp, self-motivated, tech-savvy mind to bring an enthusiastic and active presence to our social campaigns and those of our clients.
Our ideal candidate is well-versed in all things Internet, closely follows the web’s ever-changing trends and best practices, and has an acute sense of exactly how a brand ought represent itself to the rest of the online world. That means that a passion for building relationships, a strong intuitive sense of how to engage web users, and a clear understanding of how to conduct oneself on the web.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and updating Ethoseo’s social media accounts
- Setup and management of client social accounts
- Developing and executing comprehensive social campaigns
- Applying content strategy to social
- Create new content for Ethoseo and client blogs, sites, and social accounts
- Interfacing with clients’ existing PR and social managers to provide seamless cooperation between our team and clients’
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and high degree of familiarity with major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
- A passion for social networking and sharing
- Experience building relationships within and between organizations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic design skills (adding text to images, cropping images, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly under pressure
- Highly motivated to do, create, and improve
- Desire to learn and teach others
NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of web marketing (SEO, PPC, Analytics)
- Graphic design experience
- Experience with social media analytics tools
- Previous blogging experience, or other experience writing and producing content for the web
